At this time, on the First Anniversary of Dick's passing, we, his family, would like to thank everyone for their support and kindness to Dick and to us and for donating to Brain Tumour Ireland in memory of Dick. We would also like to thank the staff in Beaumont Hospital, St. Luke's and the Beacon Hospital who cared for Dick throughout his illness. I first met Dick in the early 90s in the new Department of Tourism and Trade. We lost touch after that but reconnected recently usually at some football event. I miss his wise comments on things. My deepest sympathy. Paul Gormley

I first met Dick at a fundraiser for Brain Tumor Ireland in Kilmacud Crokes. I will never forget the many people that turned up in support for the night and for Dick and all the many friends he had and how loved he was by everybody. Mark.
