McGETTIGAN - Deirdre. Deirdre’s parents Jim and Patsy, her siblings Maureen, Brian, Patricia, Catherine, Lorraine, James, Dennis, Neil and Annita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends would like to thank each and every person who offered condolences, comfort and support since Deirdre’s passing. Thank you to everyone who called to our home, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolence, we are truly grateful. To our many friends, great neighbours, Deirdre’s friends and the Teresian School, your kindness and support will never be forgotten. Heartfelt thanks to Deirdre’s uncle Fr. Dinny McGettigan, Monsignor Ciaran O’Carroll and the Donnybrook Parish Team and Fr. Ray Murrin for prayers and lovely words at Deirdre’s Funeral Mass. Thank you to Barbara Galvin for the beautiful singing and music which added so much to the ceremony. A special thanks to Jody Fanagan and all the team at Fanagan’s Funeral Directors for their guidance, kindness and professionalism throughout this difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions today on Deirdre’s first birthday away from home.
