Tempus fugit

We were separated by age and probably attitudes but we had our parallels. Both of us were maths/science teachers and were among the first to teach computers in our respective schools. In 1977 you, a Galwayman, left a post you liked in Co Tipperary to take up a job in Athenry. In 1977 I, who came from near Athenry, left a school I liked in Co Limerick for a post in Galway city. Both of us got a long stretch in teaching. For me, you're another brick gone from the edifice of my friends and acquaintances. For you I hope it's a case of no regrets
