MURDOCH, Henry (Dalkey, Killaloe and formerly Sligo) – May 16, 2025. Peacefully, in the care of the wonderful staff at the Blackrock Hospice Dublin and previously in The Nightingale Unit in Blackrock Clinic, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for over fifty years of the late Davida and devoted father of Maeve and Breffni. Predeceased by his brothers Bill and Laurence, and his infant son Joseph. Henry will be dearly missed by Maeve and Breffni, by his sister Hilary, daughter-in-law Rebecca, son-in-law Ahmed, and by his seven grandchildren, Amira, Daisy, Nabil, Luke, Malik, Bonnie and Tamara. Also deeply missed by his sisters-in-law Wendy and Doreen, and their spouses Frank and Eddie. Fondly remembered by his extended family, wide circle of friends and former colleagues. Reposing Thursday May 22nd in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm-6pm. Removal Friday May 23rd to St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule arriving for 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed online at http://www.churchservices.tv/glasthule followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the National Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, Rochestown Avenue, Dún Laoghaire.
