GILLESPIE - Alywn, artist, (Dublin), died peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in the kind and attentive care of the Mater Hospital after a courageous struggle with cancer. Mother of Finn and the late Anna, she will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law Jess, her grandchildren Giacomo, Giorgia and Bruno, by her brothers Paul and Julian, sister Sarah, sister-in-law Deirdre, brother-in-law John and many relatives and friends. Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Amiens Street, Dublin 1 from 3.00pm to 5.00pm today

(Wednesday). The funeral will take place at a private family burial in St Fintan’s, Sutton, tomorrow (Thursday). This will be followed by a celebration marking her life at a nearby venue, by invitation only due to current Covid restrictions.
