PHELAN, Mervin (Sutton) peacefully in Highfield on January 30, 2018. Father of the late Ronan. He is survived by his wife Betty (née Culhane), loving children Colman, Anne, Kathryn, Jacinta, Siobhan, Mervin and Orla, his thirteen much loved grandchildren, brothers Basil and Patrick, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and cousins. Funeral Mass at 10am tomorrow, (Friday) at St Fintan's Church, Sutton, followed by burial at St Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton. No flowers. Donations, if desired, to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, www.alzheimers.ie. We are so grateful for his long, happy and adventurous life. Deo gratias.
