TANSEY - Eilis. First Anniversary, March 8, 2025.Â

As we remember our mother, Eilis, with much love on the first anniversary of her death, her family, Fionnuala, Brigid, John Paul and Peter, along with her extended family, wish to thank all our relatives, Mum's friends and ours, neighbours and all those who supported us with their kindness throughout her illness and death. Thank you to all who attended her Funeral Mass, sent letters, Mass cards, online messages and called in to the house, all giving us great comfort and support which we deeply appreciated. We would like to thank Fr Peter O'Connor P.P., Fr John Mahon CSSp and Fr Dick Quinn CSSp for their beautiful, concelebrated Funeral Mass and tenor, Sean Kennedy, for his wonderful singing. Thank you too to Blackrock Bridge Club and Elm Park Golf Club for their loyal support. And thank you to Rev William Fortune C.C. for giving Mum the Last Rites. Special thanks to all who cared for Mum in her latter years: To her longtime carers at home for their great dedication to her, to Newtownpark House Nursing Home for their wonderful care and kindness, to GPs Drs Paddy Duggan and Conor Murphy, and Dr Diarmuid O'Shea and the geriatric team in St Vincent's University Hospital for their expert and sensitive medical care. We are deeply grateful to them all.

Anniversary Mass will be offered on Saturday, March 8, at 6.30 p.m. in St John the Baptist Church, Blackrock.
