McMULLIN Lorcan (Drumlonagher, Donegal Town) - On the sad occasion of the First Anniversary of Lorcan's tragic death his family and girlfriend Jayme wish to acknowledge and express our warmest appreciation to the very many people who sympathised with us at the time of our heart-breaking loss. We thank most sincerely all those who attended the wake, removal and funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy. We wish to thank especially those who travelled long distances including those who came from abroad to pay their final respects to Lorcan and to be with us. Lorcan was blessed in his good friends and we offer our deep gratitude to them for their friendship to Lorcan and their continuing support to all of us. We gratefully acknowledge the thoughtfulness and generosity of our extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends who helped out during the wake, brought food and refreshments and supported us in so many ways and indeed continue to do so. A very special word of thanks to Fr. John Joe Duffy who travelled to be with us and offered the prayers for Lorcan's removal to St. Patrick's Church. Our grateful thanks to Fr. Peoples and Fr. McBrearty who concelebrated Requiem Mass, and to everyone who participated in the Mass and interment service. We are especially grateful to the congregation for the generous donations received for Pieta House. We extend our deep gratitude to Fr. Peoples, Dr. Cooke, the Paramedics and members of the GardaĆ for their assistance, understanding and kindness on the evening of Lorcan's death. We thank the management and staff of Donegal Community Hospital for the facilities they generously provided during Lorcan's wake. We appreciate the assistance and guidance of Enda and the Faulkner family. Our thanks to the Psychiatric Services who looked after Lorcan during his short illness and especially to Sharon O'Hare of Ard Nua for the care and support she gave to Lorcan and for her kindness to him and to us, his family. We wish to thank the doctors and staff of the Old School Surgery who cared for Lorcan and our family with compassion and consideration. We are most grateful to you all and as it would be impossible to convey our thanks to everyone individually, we offer this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt and sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Lorcan's Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday April 30 at 11.30am in St. Patrick's Church, Donegal Town.
