COGHLAN - Acknowledgement and First Anniversary. In loving memory of Paul, Bellview House, Ballydowney, Killarney

RIP, June 8, 2023. As we lovingly remember Paul on his first anniversary, his wife Peggy, his children and their spouses, his grandchildren and extended family wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the sympathy and support shown to us on our heartbreaking loss.

A special thanks to the nurses and carers of Our Lady of Lourdes Care Facility, Kilcummin, Killarney, Dr. Donal Coffey, Dr. Fiona Coffey and their team in Ross Medical Practice.

A sincere and special word of thanks to Fr. Kieran O’Brien and thank you to Bishop Emeritus Bill Murphy, Msgr. Seán Hanafin, Msgr. Dan O’Riordan, Fr. Paddy O’Donoghue and Fr. Tom Looney, who concelebrated his Funeral Mass.

Thank you also to Grace Foley who sang and Edel Heenan who played the music at his Funeral Mass and Ger Healy who sang at the graveside.

Sincere thanks to Mary and Michael O’Shea and Ger Fitzgerald of O’Shea’s Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism.

A word of thanks to his many friends and his colleagues from the world of politics who attended the removal, Funeral Mass and graveyard, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us.

We were touched by the presence and support of Fine Gael, Trustees and Staff of Muckross House, Killarney Golf Club and Killarney Chamber of Commerce who formed guards of honour.

To all mentioned and all those who it is not possible to thank individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude.

Paul is sadly missed today and everyday and is forever in our hearts.

Paul’s First Anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday, June 8, at 6.15p.m. in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney.
