O'GORMAN, Eithne, (née McDermott), ("Sesimbra", 1 Bayview, Rosses Point, Sligo, and formerly Dromore West, Co. Sligo), (peacefully) at the Nazareth House Nursing Home after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by her heartbroken family. Beloved wife of Kevin, and adored mother of Gillian and Kevin. Predeceased by her father Mick (M.R.C.V.S.), mother Aileen and sister Grace (Clarke). Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her family, son-in-law Justin (Lyons), Kevin's partner Elaine (Gordon), grandchildren Eliza-Beth, Caoimhe and Harley-James, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles Tommy and Kieran, aunt Anne (née Tighe), nephews, nieces, cousins, nursing colleagues, and a wide circle of friends. Rest In Peace. Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel this (Friday) evening from 5pm until 7.30pm, and at her residence tomorrow (Saturday) from 4pm to 7pm. House private thereafter please. Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday in St. Columbas Church, Rosses Point, at 2pm followed by burial afterwards in Rosses Point cemetery, Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimers Day Care Centre, Dunally, Sligo.
O'GORMAN (née McDermott) Eithne, December 29, 2016 - On this the First Anniversary of Eithne's death, Gillian, Kevin Jnr. and Kevin Snr. wish to sincerely thank all the people who sympathised with us and those who sent letters, Mass cards and cards. We are very grateful to all who provided food and helped greatly in the house and those who directed traffic. Our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours for their unending support at all times. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Eithne's Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday January 7, 2018 in St. Columba's Church, Rosses Point, Sligo at 11am.
