BLAKE, Una Patricia (née O'Higgins) (Late of Milltown) - April 8, 2021. Peacefully in Belmont Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Sarah, and her siblings Brendan, Maeve, Colm, Eamon, Sadie and Frank. Deeply missed by her sister Deirdre (Clear) and her many nieces and nephews especially Sarah, Mary, John F. and Brona. Also missed by her great-grand nieces and nephews. Private family funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 10am. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, may view the funeral Mass live online at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/milltown-parish., followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, this service may be viewed on https://vimeo.com/event/139693. We, her sister Deirdre (Clear), her nieces and nephew Sarah, Mary, John F. and Brona together with our extended family wish to offer our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all friends, colleagues and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy on our very sad loss. We express our sincere gratitude to the staff of Belmont Nursing Home, Stillorgan for the care and kindness given to Una. We thank Mons. Peter Briscoe (Milltown) for his celebration of the Requiem Mass and the cremation service, and also Fr. Brendan Ludlow (UCD) for officiating at the interment of Una’s remains. We also thank all those who made donations to the Capuchin Day Centre. Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
