O'REILLY, Fr Patrick M SPS, (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Rathmines (Dublin), Archdiocese of Dublin, Kitui Diocese (Kenya) and Rome) - April 4, 2021, peacefully in the Care Unit at St Patrick’s, Kiltegan. Predeceased by his sister Bobbie (Browne), brother Barry, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Paddy Browne. Sadly missed by his nieces Jean, Marilyn, Valerie and Lanna, his nephews Peter and Patrick, grandnieces, grandnephews, his relatives and friends and by his Society family. Due to Government restrictions the Funeral will be private. Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Chapel, Kiltegan, on Wednesday, April 7, at 12 noon, followed by burial in the Society Cemetery. Fr Paddy was a curate in my home parish of Glasnevin. I was an altar server and I accompanied him to Glenstl when he was discerning his future as a missionary. He was such a good friend to me. May he rest in peace. (Fr) Ray Staunton,sm
