SHERWOOD, George, (High St., Kilkenny). July 6, 2016, (peacefully) in the loving care of St. Luke's Hospital and previously of Drakelands Nursing Home. Dear brother of Cyril and the late Jack and Olive. A much loved uncle to George, Marc, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Valerie, John and Richard. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Ruby, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home tomorrow (Friday) evening from 7.30 o'c with prayers at 8.30 o'clock Removal on Saturday at 11 o'c to St. Mary's Church, Kells for service at 11.30 o'clock Burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the M.R.I. Scanner Appeal, St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. "Safe in the arms of Jesus"
