McCOLGAN, (Donnybrook and formerly of Malahide and of Ballybofey, Co. Donegal) – April 17 2020 (peacefully) in the superb care of the wonderful staff at Cherryfield Lodge Nursing Home, Milltown. John (late of the EU Commission and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade), was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, and he will be sadly missed and forever remembered by Jane, his loving wife of 51 years; by his children Mark, Garth, Kate, James and Robert; by his grandchildren Molly, Julia, Johnny, Clara, Tommy, Marcus and Jack; by his sisters Mary and Annie; by his daughters-in-law Siobhán, Louise and Grace; by Cecilia and Kian; and by all of his extended family and friends. Due to the current Government restrictions around large gatherings, a private funeral will take place for the immediate family. A further public celebration of John’s life will take place at a later date. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral may leave a personal message below. Family flowers only. McCOLGAN - John, Tomorrow Easter Sunday, April 17, is John's Second Anniversary. He is deeply loved and sadly missed every day by his wife Jane, children Mark, Garth, Kate, James and Robert, by Kian and his grandchildren Molly, Julia, Johnny, Clara, Tommy, Marcus, Jack and Margot, by his sisters Mary and Annie, and by his extended family and friends.

McCOLGAN - John - Last Wednesday, April 17, was John's Fourth Anniversary. He is forever loved and missed by Jane, Mark, Garth, Kate, James and Robert, by his ten grandchildren, by his sisters Mary and Annie and by his extended family and friends.
