HENNESSY (Sligo) February 1, 2017 (peacefully) in the excellent care of the North West Hospice, Sligo. Peter Anthony (Thornhill, Sligo and formerly Belfast, late of IT Sligo) - Loving husband of Mary (née Magee) and dear father of Killian, Nóra, Luke and Máirín. Sadly missed by his sisters, Máire McCullagh (Belfast) and Anne Irvine (Belfast) and his beloved grandchildren Aaron, Olan, Isobel, Sarah, Ezra, Iarla and Eve. His children's partners Rose, Donal, Rhona and Brian. Peter will also be missed by his in-laws Sally and Dominic Burke (Derry) and Malcolm Rankin (Manchester) his nephews and nieces, friends and neighbours. Requiescat in pace. Reposing at The Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo this (Friday) evening from 6.00pm with removal at 8.00pm to Sligo Cathedral arriving at 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection tomorrow (Saturday) at 12.30pm with interment in Sligo Cemetery afterwards. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu if desired to the North West Hospice, C/o Foley and McGowan Funeral Directors, Market Yard, Sligo.
