O'NEILL - (Tadhg) (Lt. Gen. Retired). Died September 17, 2009 Dublin. The family of the late Tadhg wish to thank all those who offered us support and sympathy at the time of his death. We would particularly like to thank our extended family, his Army colleagues, neighbours and friends from Newlands Golf Club. We would also like to thank the Priests who concelebrated Mass, Mons. Ted Dunne, Mons. Eoin Thynne - Head Chaplain Defence Force, Fr. Des Campion - Chaplain Naval Service, Fr. Redmond and Fr. John Wall P.P. Clondalkin. A special thanks to the staff in St. Ita's Ward Peamount Hospital for the outstanding care and kindness Tadhg received while there. Our deepest appreciation to all those who attended both the removal service and funeral Mass - especially those who travelled long distances and to those who sent us the most moving and comforting letters and cards of sympathy. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this notice will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
