O'DONNELL (née Ryan), Carmel (Castlegregory and formerly of Birr and Cork), July 23, 2020, peacefully after a short illness at her home, in the presence of her family and in the tender care of the Kerry Palliative Care team and the Castlegregory Primary Care team, much loved wife of the late Des, beloved mother of Tom, Joy, Myles and Brendan, adored grandmother of Aidan, Desmond, Catherine, Niamh, Kate, Patrick, Michael, Megan, Eoin, Rachel, Clare and Lucy; dear sister of Carol and the late Eileen; sadly missed by her daughters -in -law Patricia, Anne and Colette, grand-daughter-in-law Maureen, brothers-in-law Paul and Kevin, Joanne, Rory, nephews and nieces, relatives, carers and many friends. In accordance with Government guidelines a private funeral Mass will be celebrated for Carmel tomorrow (Saturday) at St Mary's Church, Castlegregory, arriving for Mass at 12.30 pm. Burial afterwards in Killiney Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or Kerry Hospice Foundation.
