HIGGINS, Michael J., November 14, 2016. As his First Anniversary nears, Iseult and family would like to thank most sincerely all those who so generously gave their sympathy and support at the time of Michael's very sudden death in Copenhagen on November 14, 2016. We are most grateful to those who attended his Removal, the Mass the next day in Mount Merrion and his burial in Labane, Co. Galway. We would like to thank his many friends and colleagues in Engineers Ireland and the Academy of Engineering for their support at the time and since his death. We also express our appreciation to UCD AFC and to Galway Corinthians RFC who formed a guard of honour after the funeral. We thank everyone who sent us messages of sympathy, letters and Mass cards. To all those who supported us during this very sad and lonely time, we would like to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude. Michael will be missed by us all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered in thanksgiving for his life and for your intentions.
