O'CONOR-NASH, Laura Letitia (Chicks) (late of Philadelphia and Sandycove, Co. Dublin) - May 23, 2020 (peacefully) in the tender and loving care of the staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill, Roscommon. Much loved, elder daughter of the late Group Captain Rupert Nash and the late Gertrude O'Conor-Nash and sister of the late Rosalind Mary. Deeply mourned, loved and missed by her brother Pyers (Castlerea), sister-in-law Marguerite, nieces Barbara and Letitia, nephew Richard, grandnieces Charlotte, Saoirse, and Hazel (Brisbane), and grandnephews Haron and Freddie, cousins, extended family, in-laws Carol-Anne, Terence, and James and a wide circle of devoted friends especially Sandy, Ellen, and Carol. May She Rest in Peace. The funeral will take place in accordance with the current Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings. Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 11 o'clock today (Monday) with burial taking place tomorrow (Tuesday). Those who might wish to attend but cannot do so can watch a live stream of the service on www.facebook.com/gaynorsfuneraldirectors or are welcome to leave a personal message in the condolences section on www.irishtimes.com. Laura and I served as volunteers at the Joyce Tower a few years back. In the quiet times we had many interesting discussions about all kinds of subjects. She struck me as a sensitive, loving, insightful person. A lovely lady. John Heuston.
