SWEENEY (née Spring) (Racecourse Lawn, Tralee) - May 17, 2010, Maeve, former Urban and County Councillor and Mayor of Tralee, (peacefully), in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Kerry General Hospital, after a long illness fought with great courage, loving wife of the late Jim and dear mother of James and Mary, sister of Dr. Arthur, Dick, Donal, Noelle and the late Kay (Doyle); deeply regretted by her loving children, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and many friends. R.I.P. Requiem Mass today (Thursday) at 11.15 o'clock in St. John's Church followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Cork. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Palliative Care Unit, Kerry General Hospital.
SWEENEY (Spring) Maeve, May 17, 2010 (late of Tralee, Co. Kerry) - On her first anniversary, her son James, daughter Mary, sister Noelle, brothers Arthur, Dick, Donal and other close family members remember her today; she will always be in our hearts. We remember with deepest gratitude all those who were so kind and caring to her during her illness. Heartfelt thanks for all the kindness, support and sympathy we received, and continue to receive, from so many relatives, friends and neighbours. Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
