OWENS (Dublin) - May 23, 2014, peacefully at Mater Private Hospital surrounded by those who loved him most. Marc, (Belvedere College SJ and DCU), precious son of Brian and Edel and brother to Aoife, Neil and Aisling will be missed by his loving parents, family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass today, Monday 11am St. Francis Xavier Church, Gardiner Street and then to Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired to Laura Lynn Foundation, 18 Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18.

OWENS Marc (First Anniversary, May 23) - Deeply missed and remembered with love today and everyday by his parents Brian and Edel, sisters Aoife and Aisling, and brother Neil. We thank most sincerely our extended family and friends and those, known and unknown to us, who supported Marc and the family through Marc's illness and who continue to support us since Marc's death. A special thank-you to the doctors, nurses and care teams at both Mater Hospitals, MD Anderson (Houston, Texas) and St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Thank you to all who attended Marc's Funeral Mass, sent Mass and sympathy cards, letters of condolence, text messages and Facebook posts. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Jim Culliton SJ who made Marc's Funeral Mass very special. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually , please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our genuine appreciation and gratitude.
