O'HIGGINS-SHEA, Sophie Persephone, aged seventeen months and two days, December 3, 2014, at John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford, (suddenly), beloved daughter of Aoife and Mike, granddaughter of Malachy and Christine, Georges, Bill and Evelyn, cherished niece of Ciara and Fabrice, Herb, Joan, Louisa and Cecilia. Sophie will be sadly missed by all her grieving family, and everyone who had the privilege to meet her. Her short but beautiful life will be celebrated at St Alban's Church, Charles Street, Oxford at 1 o'clock on Sunday December 14."What though the radiance which once shone so bright/be now forever taken from our sight/though nothing can bring back the hour/of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower/we shall grieve not, but rather find/strength in what remains behind".
