Mc DERMOTT, (formerly of Cartron House, Templeboy, Co. Sligo and Sudbury, Ontario, Canada) April 29, 2018, (very peacefully) in the exceptional care of the staff at Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray, County Wicklow and of her sister Angela. Deeply missed by Angela, her other surviving sister Eileen Neary, nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and extended family and friends, including her good friends in Canada. It was Marion's wish that her body be donated to a School of Medicine in the interests of Medical Science, accordingly a Funeral Service and Cremation will be held in due course. Memorial Mass in celebration of Marion’s life will take place in a number of weeks. No Flowers, donations, if desired, to the Stroke Unit of St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin. Ní bheidh a leithéad ann arís. May she Rest In Peace

I had the privilege of working with Marion in Sudbury. She was a much respected nurse and wonderful friend to both myself and my daughters. She knit many a sweater and we treasured her friendship. Hugs for her loving sisters. Lynn Gainer
