MURRAY, Desmond Gerard (Des), 7th January, 2018. (Late of Templeogue, Retired I.P.T. (Mercers) and Bohemians F.C.). Passed peacefully in the care of the staff at St. James's Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Áine and father of Áine (recently deceased) and Elizabeth (Liz). He will be sadly missed by his daughter Liz and also by his granddaughter Kyanna, son-in-law John, grandchildren Chris, Ciara and Aislinn, and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. In accordance with Des’s final wishes his remains have been donated to The Royal College of Surgeons. There will be a gathering of family and friends this (Saturday) afternoon (February 3) at 2pm in The Templeogue Inn to celebrate his special life.
