KELLY, PATRICK JAMES (PADDY)

KELLY, (Ballydehob, West Cork and formerly of Greystones, Co. Wicklow) - On March 1st, 2025, Patrick James (Paddy), died at his home. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, so much loved by all his family: his wife Jean, his daughters Lara and Rachel, his grandchildren, Axel, Anya, Elyssa, Natascha, Joshua and Asa, his brother Tim, sister Helen, his dearly loved sisters Angela and Shelagh who died before him, his sons-in-law Eugene and Colm, and all his extended family. Paddy's wife and family wish to pay tribute to the wonderful care and kindness of the palliative, Irish Cancer and community nurses who looked after him so well. Paddy donated his body to UCC Anatomy Department. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Marymount Cork, or to the Irish Cancer Society. A celebration of Paddy's life will take place at An Sanctóir, Ballydehob (P81XF34) on Saturday, March 8, at 11.00am. Our beloved Paddy showed great courage and love in the face of death. Samson hath quit himself like Samson.
