GRIFFIN the Very Rev. Dr. Victor Gilbert (former Dean of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin) - January 11, 2017 (peacefully) at home in Limavady. Victor's family, Kevin, Elizabeth, Janice, Sonia, Alison, Stephen, Leona, Hazel and Conor wish to thank all those who sympathised with us after our recent loss. We thank all those who attended the funeral Service in Limavady, those who sent letters, cards and floral tributes. We thank the Aides to The President and Taoiseach and The Lord Lieutenant of Londonderry, representing H.M. the Queen. We would also like to thank the Rev. Mc Veigh who conducted the services in Limavady and Roselawn Crematorium in Belfast, also The Very Rev. W. Morton, Dean of St. Patrick's, Rev. C. Mullen, Dean's Vicar, The Right Rev. K. Good, Bishop of Derry and Fr. M. Collins of Limavady and other clergy who were in attendance. We also thank the carers and close friends Teresa, Gerard and Margaret. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Victor's life will be held on Sunday, May 14, at 3.15 pm in St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin.
