O'CONNELL, Desmond (late of Killiney, Co. Dublin and T.C.D.) - January 18, 2016, following a long illness bravely borne at the Blackrock Hospice, loving husband of the late Vivienne (Limerick), beloved father of Karl, Daragh and Suzanne, treasured grandfather of Ari, Cian, Jani, Samuel, Alexei, Ellie, Isabel and Abbie, brother of adored sister Mairin and father-in-law of Susanna, Nora and Victor; he will be sadly missed by his entire family, relatives and wide circle of friends. Removal today (Wednesday) at 5.00pm, from Colliers Funeral Home Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, to St. Anne's Church, Shankill, arriving for Reception Prayers at 5.30pm. Funeral tomorrow (Thursday), after 10.00am Requiem Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers, please. Donations to the Irish Charity which he founded, Outreach Moldova (ORM). House Private."Live simply, love generously, care deeply and speak kindly"
