BENNETT, Fr Donal (Columban Fathers) and late of Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Philippines and Dalgan Park, Navan - May 13th 2023, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Columban's Retirement Home, Navan. Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Molly, brothers Fr. Terry, Jack and Tom, sister Eileen, brother-in-law Edward and his nephew Terry. Very deeply regretted by his sister Rosaleen Rodgers, sisters-in-law Mary and Pat, brother-in-law Brian, nephews, nieces, extended family, Columban family and friends. R.I.P. Removal and Evening Prayers today (Monday) at 7pm in St.Columban's, Dalgan Park, Navan. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am. Burial afterwards in the Community Cemetery. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of dear Fr Donal a lovely kind man. We saw him a few weeks ago very frail but his mind was amazing recalling his grandfather John McGovern. We can't attend his funeral as we are away, but our thoughts are with the Bennett family and his sister Rosaleen. Ar dheis Dè go raibh a anam dìlis. Sheila & Vincent Canny, Blackrock, Co Dublin.
