SMYTH - Denis - Brenda, Russell and John Smyth and their extended family wish to acknowledge with gratitude the many expressions of sympathy and kindness received by them following the death of their beloved Denis, a devoted husband, father, granddad and brother. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many parishioners, friends, relatives and former colleagues, who turned out in such large numbers to say farewell to Denis at his wake, removal and funeral. To those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent flowers, letters and cards and posted messages of condolence we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Denis' nieces Mary and Janet, to his sister Margaret, his brother Brian and to his neighbours the Caseys and Morans for all their care and kindness; to all those who participated at Denis’ funeral Mass, the readers, harpist, singers and very especially to Fathers Thomas O’ Mahony and Alo Connaughton for their spiritual support; to Anne Gray for printing the Mass leaflet; to the members of Royal Tara Golf Club for their proud guard of honour; and finally to Michael Ryan, Funeral Director, for his sensitive and professional support. To all who helped in any way, your kindness has lifted our spirits at this sad time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
