RODGERS, Fr Jack SPS, (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Cappamore, Co Limerick, Kitui Diocese (Kenya), Archdiocese of São Paulo (Brazil) and Ballymorris, Portarlington, Co Laois), February 24, 2019, at his home in Ballymorris (suddenly).Very sadly missed by his sisters Mary Collins (Killaloe) and Kathleen (Dublin), by his brother Joseph (Wickford, England), by his sister-in-law Mary, by his brother-in-law Sean Collins, by his nieces, nephew, grandniece, grandnephews, his relatives and friends and by his Society family. Removal this (Thursday) morning at 9:30am from St Pauls Church, Emo, arriving St. Patrick’s, Kiltegan, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the Society Cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

I still remember that day with great sadness when I received news of Fr.Jack Rodgers passing on.He was my Rector at St.Joseph's Seminary, Mwingi, Kenya and helped many of us students in so many ways.May God grant him eternal rest. Amen
