LOGAN, Aideen (Fortune) (Late of Rathfarnham, E.S.B., Dublin), departed this life with dignity on October 9, 2010. Bernard, Jenny, Aideen's mother Joan, sisters Deirdre and Siobhan, brother Brian and the extended Logan and Fortune families would like to thank most sincerely all those who attended the wake and funeral, provided meals and refreshments and joined us in celebrating Aideen's life. We were very moved by the many Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and support. While we knew how amazing Aideen was, hearing from friends (old and new), E.S.B. colleagues, school mums and neighbours how Aideen touched and enriched their lives was very consoling. To the wonderful visitors who provided Aideen with support, entertainment and hilarity during her last weeks in hospital - thank you. We would also like to pay tribute to the outstanding care Aideen received from Prof. John Crowne, Dr Declan O'Keefe and the wonderful staff of Cedar Ward, St Vincent's Private Hospital. A special word of thanks to Elena who has provided wonderful care and invaluable support to Jenny, Aideen and Bernard. Finally sincere thanks to Fr. Martin, Jenny's classmates, teacher Miss McArdle, principal Sr. Maria of Loreto Rathfarnham and to the musicians who provided beautiful music as a fitting backdrop to Aideen's final journey. Aideen's Months Mind Mass will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 7.30 p.m. in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham.
