LYNCH - Padraig (Clonconnane, Limerick and formerly of Geevagh, Sligo) - As we approach the First Anniversary (August 2, 2023) we, the family of the late (Pat) Lynch wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours, colleagues and well wishers who visited our home, attended the wake and Mass in person or virtually and who provided emotional and practical support to us. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence and who made donations to the Parkinsons Association, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Maria, who cared for Padraig with dignity and compassion; to our wonderful neighbours of Willow Grove, we will always remember your many kindnesses; Padraigs former colleagues of the Prison Service; The Mens Shed Caherdavin, your guard of honour touched our hearts; Mr. Sean O'Sullivan (Neurologist) and Paula of the Bons Secours Hospital in Cork; Tony and all the staff of the Greenhills Hotel; Griffins Funeral Undertakers for their dignity, respect and professionalism shown to us at all times; Ger O Connell, Joan Cunneen and Anna Jane Ryan for their beautiful and reflective harmonies and music; Ann Marie the Sacristan of Caherdavin Church, and finally to our Parish Priest Fr. Pat O Sullivan of Caherdavin, we can never thank you enough for your continued support and gentle guidance. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. First Anniversary Mass will be on Sunday, July 30, at 12.00 noon in Christ the King, Caherdavin Church.
