LYNCH, Dick, On today February 22, 2020, the First Anniversary of Dick's death, Sally, Conor, Barry and Sinead would like to express their sincerest thanks to everyone who attended the repose, funeral and cremation. We were overwhelmed with all the cards, letters and words of support. They gave us a great deal of comfort throughout a sad time. We would like to thank Dick's family and friends who visited him during his short illness, especially his brothers, Tom, John, Frank and his sister Catherine, as well as his nieces and nephews. We know how much Dick looked forward to those visits, giving him wonderful opportunities to reminisce, when he would always remember more than anyone. Thank you to Father Gerard and Father John from the Holy Rosary in Greystones and Murphy's Funeral Directors. We especially want to thank Benjie and Sarah for their beautiful music that accompanied the Mass. Dick was so brave in his battle against Motor Neurone Disease and even on his bad days he still helped Orla Hardiman and her team with their vital research. He was adamant to help them find a cure, if not for him but for other people. We wish to thank everyone who has donated to the IMNDA. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. We miss you Dick, so much .....
