HASSETT Michael, (Dundrum, Dublin and formerly Cork and Kerry) - November 21, 2015, passed away peacefully in the loving and warm care of his family and all the staff at Clonskeagh Community Nursing Unit. Best friend and loving husband to Jenny and dearly loved father of John, Gerry and Jillian. He will be sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Philo (Gregan), Gina (Killian) and son-in-law Michael van Turnhout, his grandchildren Michael, David, Matthew, Lucy and George, his brothers Tom, Sean and Liam, relatives and many friends through work, Scouting and community life. He will repose at home today Monday, and visitors are welcome from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday at 10.30am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum, followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation Stroke Action.
HASSETT Michael, (First Anniversary, 21 November 21, 2015) - Remembered with love today and every day by Jenny, John, Gerry, Jillian, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, his grandchildren and his brothers. On behalf of the family, sincere thanks to all who supported us at the time of his death and in the past year. We regale in the stories of your times shared with him at work, in scouting and in his service to our community. A special thank you to the staff at Clonskeagh Community Nursing Unit. We appreciated everyone who called to our home, attended the funeral Mass, sent cards, messages and letters of sympathy. It provided us with great comfort. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this as an expression of our deep gratitude.
