SWEENEY, Eric John (Carrigavantry, Co. Waterford), died, peacefully at home, on July 21, 2020. Beloved husband and best friend of Sally, loving father of Catherine, Rachel and Manus and adored grandfather of Rhian, Eoin and Lanna. Brother of the late Peter Sweeney. His gift of music has touched many. Funeral Private. A celebration of his rich life will take place when circumstances allow. Peter Kerr. Sally and family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember well the happy hospitality in your home before concerts. Eric was so supportive in my early career with the RTÉ singers, Culwick, Carlow and Waterford. With love.
