GOOLD (née Clarkin) Mary (Glasnevin, Dublin) - October 8, 2013, (peacefully), at home, surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of Pat, and loving mother of John, Eileen and Mary (Clarke), and adored Gran to Kellie, Ben, Jamie, Harry and Meg, pre-deceased by her daughter-in-law Eileen, brothers Joe and Niall and sister Nuala (Daly); very deeply regretted by her son-in-law Colm, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, her wonderful neighbours and friends. Requiescat in pace. Reposing at her home. Removal tomorrow (Friday) evening to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral on Saturday after 10 o'clock Mass to Dardistown Cemetery.
GOOLD (Mary) (née Clarkin), (Glasnevin, Dublin) Died October 8, 2013. - On this her First Anniversary, Mary's husband Pat, her children John, Eileen and Mary, her grandchildren Kellie, Ben, Jamie, Harry and Meg, her son-in-law Colm - her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family wish to express sincere thanks to all those who cared for her during her illness and especially in her final few weeks. We thank everyone who attended her removal, her funeral, sent Mass cards, called to our home, wrote to us and sympathised with us. We are most grateful for the wonderful medical attention Mam experienced, particularly the gentle care from Dr. Mary Behan our family GP, Prof. Dermot Power for his expertise and his ability to understand Mam, her needs and ours. Dr Rizwan Uddin for his relentless medical support. Dr. John Faul for his attentiveness, guidance and friendship. We are eternally grateful to all of the professional medics who provided the ultimate care to Mam, especially the dedicated team of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny and her homecare team most notably, Angela, Lisa and Stephanie. We thank Fr. Harry Gaynor for his extraordinary patience and spiritual support to Mam and us and Fr. Fergus O'Connor for receiving Mam back to Merrion. Our heartfelt appreciation to all our wonderful neighbours. Mass has been offered for your intentions in grateful appreciation to everyone who made a gesture to remember Mam and support us.
