O'DONOGHUE (née Deeney) (Rathfarnham, Dublin and late of Rathmullan, Co. Donegal and formerly of St. Thomas's Junior School, Dublin 24) - March 1, 2012, (peacefully), surrounded by her family, at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, after a long illness borne with great fortitude and dignity, Elizabeth (Betty), beloved wife of Donal (Dan) and devoted mother of Lucy Ann and Olive; deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Removal this (Saturday) evening at 4 o'c to The Church of the Divine Word, Marlay Grange, Rathfarnham arriving at 4.30 o'clock Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock on Monday morning followed by burial in Mount Venus cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust, St. James's Hospital, Dublin or to any Hospice."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dhílis"

<p>O'Donoghue Elizabeth</p> <p>I am so sad to hear of the death of Betty, my cousin, my Dad, Edward Green , is the brother of Sophie Bettys mother.</p> <p>My dad is very ill now but my Mother Annie Green was desparately sad and remembers Betty and her daughters with great affection when they were visiting them in Rathmullen.</p> <p>My prayers are with you all Nora Green.</p>
