Father Pat was a dear friend

I'm attaching some pics from our time in India. I know his memory will live strongly in the hearts of the people who he has touched through his kindness.

He was our Assistant Parish Priest. I don't remember which year it was but it was the best time in our parish. He used to visit home and watch the football world cup matches with my dad.

He told me he came to India by ship in 1958 and was ordained in July that same year. He had a brother who had Alzheimers and also a sister named Shiela. He gave me her contact number and asked to stay in touch when he left to Ireland in 2015. I wish I had called him just once. I had lost the phone number and never spoke to him after he left India. I wish I did.

I thought of him many times since he left. I was also told that he did not remember much in the past couple of years. I wonder if he remembered me and my family. He was a kind person.

I'm attaching some pics from our time in India.
