McCABE, Anne Veronica (Vera)

McCABE, (née Nolan) Anne Veronica (Vera) (Glenageary, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow) – April 4, 2022, peacefully, in her 94th year, in the company of her loving family and in the great care of the empathetic staff of St. Patrick's Ward, St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin. Vera joins her predeceased beloved husband Jimmy and golden-haired son, Pat, brother Brendan, sisters May, Pat, Josephine and Ita, and many friends who have gone before her. Our mighty matriarch will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her children Anne, Brian, Celine, Conor, Dermot, Anne's partner Tom, son-in-law Thomas, daughters-in-law Sarah, Elaine, and Orla, her many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, neighbours and many friends in Glenageary, Bray, Dun Laoghaire, Galway and Westport. Vera will repose privately before arriving at St. Joseph's Church, Glasthule on Friday morning (April 8) for 10.00am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, where she will re-join Jimmy, back together as lovers in Paradise.
