DE BÚRCA, Bernadette (née Cahill) - On 3rd January 2020. Peacefully, in the presence of her loving family, in the care of the staff at Ashbury Nursing Home, Bernie, late of Highland Grove, The Park, Cabinteely and former teacher at Holy Child Community School, Sallynoggin. Dearly loved wife of the late Seán de Búrca, beloved mother of Méabh, Déirdre, Fergus and Gráinne, doting grandmother to Aobha, Cian, Catriona, Seán, Seán, Róisín, Oisín and Ross and loving sister of Walter Cahill (USA) and the late Joe, Peter, Raymond and Nancy. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Philip (Alston), daughter-in-law Lisa, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock A94 X308 on (Tuesday 7th of January) between 6pm and 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely, Dublin 18 for 10.00am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu if desired to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (www.svp.ie). Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

Meabh, Deirdre, Fergus and Grainne - I was so sad to hear of your mum's passing. Bernie was a great godmother to me and I miss her terribly. Hoping she now rests in peace. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Best, Eavan Monahan
