DOHERTY, Alice, (Ballytegan, Gorey, Co. Wexford) April 19, 2013 - Alice's family would like to thank all who sympathised with them on their sad loss. Special thanks to all who cared for Alice: carers in her home, Gorey District Hospital, St Aidan's Day Care Centre, Joe and Ingrid and their wonderful dedicated staff in Middletown House Nursing Home. Dr. Clare, Dr. O'Doherty, and Canon Bob Gray for his pastoral care. Thank you to all who attended the removal and Service of Thanksgiving for Alice's 95 years, in Christ Church Gorey, Canon Mark Hayden for his spiritual and practical support, Revd Margaret Sykes, Mrs Margaret Stephens (Leskinfere), Mrs Lesley Bayley, the organist Mr Henry Percival, choir and church wardens. The guard of honour of Gorey Old folks Club was much appreciated. Thank you to Ben Furney (undertaker). To all who sent flowers, cards, letters and Mass cards. Knowing we have the thoughts and prayers of so many good friends has helped sustain us in our great loss. We hope this notice adequately conveys our appreciation and gratitude to all.
