O'ROURKE (née Gallagher) Mary, August 19, 2016. In the loving and expert care of the doctors and staff at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Formerly of Raidió Éireann Symphony Orchestra, College of Music, Dublin, New Irish Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra of St. Cecilia. Beloved wife of Brian and adored mother of Killian, John, and Donncha. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, grandson Oisín, sister Kathleen, brother Eamonn, daughter-in-law Agnieszka, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, Giacomo, Áine, extended family, relatives, pupils, colleagues and many friends. May she Rest In Peace. Reposing on Monday, August 22 at her home from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal on Tuesday, August 23, morning to St.Joseph's Church Terenure arriving for 11.00 o'c Mass, followed by Funeral to Mount Venus Cemetery, Rathfarnham. The family wishes to express its appreciation for the care and attention of the oncology and medical teams at the Mater Private Hospital. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.

Brian, please accept my deepest sympathy. Mary's inspiring and perceptive musicality always filled me with awe and humility. I feel priviliged to have known and sung with her. I wish you strength and hope in this sad time. Alison Browner
