QUINN Maura (Chapelizod, Dublin, and formerly of Lismore Park, Waterford) - March 16, 2016 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Beloved daughter of Mary Quinn and the late Sergeant Mick Quinn, Lismore Park, and dear sister of Gearóid, cherished aunt of Cian, Micheál and Caitríona. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Ann, aunts, uncles and wide circle of family and friends. R.I.P. Reposing in Kirwans Funeral Home, Fairview, Dublin, today (Saturday) with family in attendance from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford, on Monday, March 21, from 5.00pm with removal at 6.15pm to St. Paul's Church, Lisduggan. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 10.00am, followed by burial in St. Otteran's Cemetery. Donations, if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

<p>QUINN, Maura, (March 16, 2016), (Lismore Park, Waterford and Chapelizod, Dublin). Lovingly remembered and very sadly missed. On the First Anniversary of Maura's death, we, her mother Mary, brother Gearóid, sister-in-law Ann, nephews Cian and Micheál and niece Caitríona wish to express our sincere thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends as well as Maura's friends, neighbours and former colleagues who supported us, sent us Mass cards, messages of sympathy and flowers in our time of grief. We thank those who paid their respects in Kirwan's Funeral Home, Dublin and Thompson's Funeral Home, Waterford, and those who attended Maura's removal, funeral Mass and burial. A special thanks to Maura's uncle, Fr. Eamon Sweeney, who celebrated her funeral Mass; to Fr. Liam Murtagh who was with the family and Maura when she died; to Fr. Pat Fitzgerald and Sr. de Lourdes for their help and support, along with the sacristans, parish secretary and hospitality group in St. Paul's Church, Waterford. We thank all who took part in the liturgy and we extend our gratitude to Donna Roche, soloist Mai McGrath, organist, and musicians Cian and Caitríona Quinn, Diarmaid Cunniffe and Oliver Gogarty for enhancing the liturgy in such a beautiful way. We thank sincerely the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny for the wonderful care they gave to Maura and the staff of the Mater Private and Mater Hospital, Dublin. We express our deep gratitude to Kirwan Funeral Directors, Dublin and Thompson Funeral Directors, Waterford for their professionalism and kindness. Maura's Anniversary Mass will take place in St. Paul's Church, Waterford on Sunday March 19 at 11.30 am. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.</p>

May dear Maura rest in peace. Such a lovely gentle person. Though I haven't met her in about twenty years, I remember the fun we had learning South American dance back in the nineties. Máirín Sumesgutner
