O'DWYER, Arthur (Kate White) (Monasterevin, Co. Kildare and late of Brockagh, Ballycahill, Co. Tipperary) - May 16, 2012, in his 86th year (peacefully), surrounded by his family at Naas Hospital, beloved husband of the late Peggy; deeply regretted by his daughters Maria, Mairead and Gerardine, his son P.J., his sister, Sr. Catherine O'Dwyer, MMM, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Deirdre, his eight grandchildren, his extended family and large circle of friends. Requiem Mass today (Saturday) at 11am in St Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin followed by burial in St. Evin's Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. O'DWYER, Arthur (late of Monasterevin Co. Kildare and Ballycahill, Co. Tipperary, died May 16, 2012) - On the occasion of the first anniversary of Arthur's passing, his family - Maria, Mairéad, Gerardine, P.J., his son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Deidre, his sister Sr. Catherine MMM, and grandchildren Robert, Conor, Eleanor, Olwyn, Gillian, Eric, Cullen and Jason - would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who cared for Arthur, especially in the latter years and during his final illness. It is a great comfort to us to know that he was held in such high esteem by so many people. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to so many people who supported us at the time of Dad's illness and death. We are grateful to our extended family, Dad's friends, and to Fr. P.J. Cunningham (OCarm) and Fr. Padraig Shelley who were with us during his last days. By way of special mention, we wish to acknowledge the support of Fr. Liam Merrigan P.P., Fr. Denis O'Sullivan P.E., Fr. Eddie Ryan SCA., Fr. Denis O'Rourke SPS, and Fr. Billy Fulton SPS. We convey our thanks to Adele Whelan and Conor Fenlon for the beautiful music which enhanced Arthur's Requiem Mass, and to all who took part and joined us in that special and touching farewell for Dad. We are particularly mindful of all those who travelled a distance, especially Dad's friends from Tipperary. To all who sent Mass cards, floral tributes and expressions of sympathy, we are most grateful. We hope this acknowledgement adequately conveys our appreciation and gratitude to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Arthur's First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Monasterevin, on Saturday 25th May, at 6.30pm."He whom we loved and lost is not where he was before, he is now wherever we are"
