WHELAN Margaret (Rita) (née Joyce) (New Addington, Croydon, London; and formerly of Corr na Móna, Co. Galway), on April 7, 2020 after a short illness, Coronavirus (Covid19). Survived by her loving and devoted children, daughter Louise, and sons Thomas, Dominick, and Christopher, their partners Debbie, Eamon and son-in-law Christian and her beloved grandchildren Harry Whelan and Mia Hart. Her sisters, Sally, Kathleen and brothers, Patrick, Dominick; brother-in-law Pat, sister-in-law, Maura. Predeceased by her parents David and Kathleen Joyce. Sadly missed by her extended family, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and many friends across Ireland and the UK. Special thanks for the hard work and continued dedication of the many people at NHS UK, Mind UK and London Care (Frylands Court). Due to the Covid19 Government restrictions, the funeral will take place privately for immediate family only. This is for everyone's health and welfare. A cremation will take place at 9am (GMT) Wednesday 22nd April 2020 in London, UK, which will be broadcast to cherished members of the family and friends across the world. A Memorial Mass and Celebration Service will be arranged at a later date in Ireland to celebrate Rita's life and to reunite loved ones. May her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
