HAYES, Joe, “Alva” O’Connell Avenue, Limerick, formerly of “Dunmore”, Doonbeg, Co. Clare, former Captain and President Limerick Golf Club. November 24th 2018, peacefully at home. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his devoted wife Claire, children Deirdre, Linda, Claire, Niall and Greg, brothers Canon Niall and Fr. Vivian Hayes, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, his eleven grandchildren, relatives and friends. Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street this Monday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm followed by removal to St Joseph’s Church, O’ Connell Avenue. Requiem Mass tomorrow Tuesday at 1pm with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery. House private please. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dílis
