SILKE, Very Rev. Dean John J, PhD. PE. Diocese of Raphoe (late of Portnablagh, Co. Donegal) - January 13, 2016, (peacefully), at Putignano Hospital, Puglia, Italy, in his 90th year; deeply regretted by his nephews and nieces, sister-in-law Agnes Silke, cousin Fr. Leo Silke SMA, relatives and friends, Bishop Boyce and his fellow priests in the Diocese together with colleagues at Raphoe Diocesan Archives. Reposing at the home of his nephew Sean Gibbons at 'Lakeview', Creeslough from 6 pm - 10 pm today (Tuesday) and 10 am - 10 pm tomorrow (Wednesday) with Requiem Mass in St. Michael's Church, Creeslough on Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery.
