MARGETSON, Ruth Power (née Browne) – November 24, 2023, peacefully, in her 94th year, at Brabazon House, Sandymount. Beloved mother of Stuart and Gay, mother-in-law of Rhoda. Greatly missed by her grandsons Philip, Richard, (their wives Elaine and Aoife), Edwin and Scott and Great Grannie Ruth to Teddy, Florence and Esme. Ruth will also be greatly missed by her extended family and wide circle of friends, especially in Foxrock Golf Club. The family are particularly grateful for the exceptional care provided to Ruth by the wonderful team at Brabazon House under the direction of Hugh and Usha. Funeral arrangements will follow.

Funeral Service on Thursday (Nov.30) at 11.00am in Tullow Parish Church, Brighton Road, Carrickmines, Dublin 18, followed by burial in Dean’s Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland or the Irish Heart Foundation.

To Stuart, Gay, Rhoda and all the extended Margetson family we send our deepest condolences on your very sad loss. Ruth was a great friend to Doreen over many years and I know they enjoyed good times together both on and off the tennis court and golf course. May she rest in peace.
