COONEY (née Hughes) Gráinne (Blainroe, Co. Wicklow) - April 14, 2015, wife of the late Christy (formerly of Cooney-Jennings Ltd) passed away peacefully in her 99th year surrounded by her family, and in the excellent and loving care of Louise, Edel and their team at Blainroe Lodge Nursing Home. Loving mother to Bernie, Dympna Beggs, Angela, Gus, Patricia Smyth, Kate, Gerry, Eileen Crowe and the late Róisin. She will be greatly missed by her children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, and partners and especially by her 28 grandchildren, remembering Óisin, and her 27 great-grandchildren. Also her cousins, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. R.I.P. Removal tomorrow, Friday evening to St. Patrick's Church, Wicklow Town (walking from Market Square), arriving at 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 10.00am followed by interment in Deans Grange Cemetery arriving approx. 11.45am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Wicklow Hospice. House strictly private.Gone to Róisin, CG and Óisin.

COONEY Grainne (née Hughes) died April 14, 2015 wife of the late Christy of Blainroe Co. Wicklow and Blackrock Co. Dublin. Remembered with love, a great mother, granny and great-granny, on this the First Anniversary of Grainne's death. Her family, Bernie, Dympna, Angela, Gus, Trisha, Kate, Gerry, Eileen and the late Róisín and their extended families would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their loss. To those who called sent letters, cards, donations and attended her funeral and burial. Special word of thanks to all the staff of Blainroe Nursing Home for their gentle care and kindness during her stay there. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.
