WHITE, Mary

WHITE - Mary (née Casey) , Dundrum, Dublin 16, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 4th January 2026 after a long illness. Beloved wife of Padraic and devoted mother of Cliona. Dearly loved and cherished by her sisters Ita, Olive, Grainne, her brother Liam and their spouses. Predeceased by her brother Gerard in 2018. Mary will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law Michael, Shelagh, Máire, Pauline, Battie and their spouses. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Sean (2018). Adored by her nieces and nephews Francis, Gavin, Brandon (deceased 2018), Declan, Ailbhe, Liam, Laoise, Éile, Maebh and her grandnieces and grandnephew. Mary will be mourned by the extended Casey and White families and her many friends. Mary was the co-founder of Lir Chocolates with the late Connie Doody and elected to Seanad Éireann on three consecutive occasions Mary will be reposing in Peter Massey Funeral Home, Unit 2 Belarmine Plaza, (D18 RX0T) on Wednesday 7th January from 4pm - 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally, (D16 EO32) on Thursday 8th January at 10am followed by a cremation service at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold Cross Road, (D6WHY98) at 1pm.
